Apply now for uni in 2024
FOR students thinking of studying at uni next year, the early bird fee deadline is fast approaching. Early bird applications through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) close at 11.59pm on Friday 29 September.
After that the processing charge increases, so even if you’re unsure about your plans, applying now keeps your options open and more affordable. Once you've applied you can change your preferences as many times as you like – at no cost.
It takes 15 minutes to apply through UAC and with your application submitted, you can then focus on your end-of-year studies.
So far nearly 55,000 people have applied through UAC for undergraduate study in 2024 – almost 40,000 of these are Year 12 students. In addition, UAC has received more than 22,700 applications for the Schools Recommendations Scheme, which closed this week.
Now is the time to apply because many courses, including popular medical courses, have early closing dates.
If you have questions, tune in to our live social media session on 26 September when our Community Engagement team will answer all your questions about applications and offers through UAC.
Our friendly customer service team is available on (02) 9752 0200 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm to answer any questions.
