One week until ATARs
MORE than 40,000 NSW HSC students will be able to access their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) next Thursday 15 December. The ATAR is the rank used by universities to select school leavers for entry into university courses.
Students can access their ATAR on UAC’s website from 9am using their Year 12 student number and UAC PIN, so we advise students to make sure they have those numbers ready.
This year students will also be able to access and store their ATAR in a digital wallet, CredFolio, as part of UAC’s new digital credentials platform.
They will receive their NSW HSC results from 6am on that day.
Students with questions about their ATAR can call UAC’s ATAR Enquiry Centre on (02) 9119 5012 on the following days:
- Thursday 15 December 8.30am to 6.30pm
- Friday 16 December 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Monday 19 December 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Tuesday 20 December 8.30am to 4.30pm.
They’ll need to act quickly, students have until midnight on Friday 16 December to change their preferences for the December Round 2 offer round – the first ATAR-based offer round.
For those who haven’t applied, it’s not too late – applications for university study in first semester 2023 are open until Friday 3 February.
For more information about applying for tertiary study in 2023, visit UAC’s website or call UAC on (+61 2) 9752 0200.
