JobKeeper may be finished, but it could still help you get into uni
IF you’re dealing with financial hardship, a medical condition or difficult personal circumstances and your education has been negatively impacted during Year 11 and/or Year 12, the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) can help.
Applications for Educational Access Schemes (EAS) are now open.
There are many types of disadvantage covered by EAS including those impacted by natural disasters in Australia, such as heatwaves, bushfires, droughts, floods and severe storms.
Students will also be able to apply if a parent or guardian received JobKeeper for at least three months, or has received JobSeeker for at least three months from March 2020 onwards.
For more information about EAS, the EAS application guide and EAS fact sheets are also available on UAC’s website.
Applications for School Recommendation Schemes (SRS) – which can mean early offers for Year 12 students – and Equity Scholarships – which can provide financial assistance at uni – are also now open. For more information the SRS application guide and ES application guide are available on UAC’s website.
