Early bird uni applications close
EARLY bird applications have closed and more than 43,000 NSW and ACT Year 12 students have so far applied for tertiary study in 2021 through UAC. A breakdown of applicant numbers is below. These students can now focus wholly on their end-of-year exams.
In addition, more than 21,000 non-Year 12 applicants applied for university by the early bird closing date of 30 September.
After an early surge in applications this year these figures show an 8 per cent increase on early bird closing applications last year.
There’s still time to apply for tertiary study, however – applications for semester 1, 2020 are open until Friday 5 February 2021.
Applicants can apply on UAC’s website.
