ATAR Compass guides 55,000 students
ATAR Compass, the free ATAR estimator from the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), has been given the thumbs up, with thousands of students using the service.
Since its launch on 21 November, more than 55,000 users have received an estimated ATAR to use as a guide to make decisions about their future study options.
In the three hours between HSC results being released and ATAR release last week, more than 10,600 students inputted their HSC marks to estimate their ATAR.
Kim Paino, General Manager, Marketing and Engagement, UAC said, ‘When we launched ATAR Compass we knew that gap between HSC results and ATARs being released would be popular. Now that the class of 2022 has their ATARs, we expect the main users over the next few months will be 2023 HSC students, keen to get an idea of how the marks they’ve achieved so far – or are planning to achieve – will translate into an ATAR when it’s their turn next year.’
