Passion for their subject matter is the primary driver of university course selection for students according to a new report from the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

The Student Lifestyle Report 2022 shows that students are also keenly aware of their future job prospects with employability outcomes considered by 44 per cent of respondents and the opportunity for work experience and internships considered by 31 per cent.

UAC surveyed nearly 14,000 students and found that campus proximity and reputation of the institution was important to at least half of respondents and after two years of disruption the majority of them are looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing the social life of campus.
