Schools Recommendation Scheme

SRS is available for all ACU courses on the Blacktown, Canberra, North Sydney and Strathfield campuses, except for Biomedical Science and combined degrees, Education and combined degrees, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology and Western Civilisation and combined degrees.

Students must have their preferred ACU SRS courses listed in their UAC preferences by the close of the preference date for the November offer round. ACU will consider a student’s Year 11 studies and school ratings. More about applying for ACU courses through SRS.

New prerequisites for Bachelor of Biomedical Science

For students aiming to pursue a degree in Biomedical Science at ACU in 2026, the prerequisite subjects have changed to English plus one of the following: mathematics, Biology, Chemistry or Physics, any 2 units of English (Standard, Band 3) or English as an Additional Language (EAL, Band 4), and any 2 units of mathematics (Band 2). Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology has arrived in Canberra

ACU is excited to welcome the first cohort of students to the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Canberra campus. The Bachelor of Speech Pathology is designed to be accessible for students living in Canberra as well as those living in rural and regional areas. Learn more about allied health courses at ACU.

ACU’s Peter Faber Business School awarded AACSB accreditation

The prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) international accreditation has been awarded to all business courses at the Peter Faber Business School, joining the 6 per cent of business schools worldwide with this accreditation.

Early Entry applications now open

Avondale University’s Early Entry program can earn students an offer into their chosen undergraduate degree before their final HSC exams. Open to domestic Year 12 students who are eligible for an ATAR and can demonstrate an average mark of no less than 70 per cent across all subjects in Year 11.

Students may also be eligible for a $2,000 Early Entry Scholarship. Offers are released from Tue 2 Sep onwards and applications close on Tue 11 Nov.

Credit towards education degrees

If you’ve completed a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or School-Based Education Support you can receive up to 12 months of credit towards the Bachelor of Educational Studies and then progress to our accelerated Master of Teaching (Primary or Secondary).

International Christian Choral Celebration

International Christian Choral Celebration is a global online event showcasing Christian choral music. Open to school, community, church, college and professional choirs of all sizes.

Submissions close Tue 1 Jul. The event will be streamed on Fri 19 Sep.

Entry details
  • Entry is free and open to any choir worldwide performing Christian-themed music.
  • Submit two unaccompanied video performances, including one piece inspired by the Psalms.
  • The William Byrd Prize: $5,000 awarded to the most moving submission, selected by an expert panel.
Scholarship opportunity

Year 12 students participating in the International Christian Choral Celebration may be eligible for a one-year scholarship for the Bachelor of Music (Worship). Open to students in school, church or community choirs.

Events and workshops for careers advisers

Macquarie University’s Careers Adviser Lunch and Learn Series 

Specifically designed for careers advisers and teachers to better understand what Macquarie Uni can offer their students. These bite-size sessions (15 to 20 minute) will be held each term. Register to watch Macquarie University’s Careers Adviser Lunch and Learn Series live or access on-demand afterwards.

New Bachelor of Health Sciences

Macquarie University will offer a new Bachelor of Health Sciences from 2026. For students exploring a career in the growing healthcare sector, this degree provides foundational skills along with the opportunity to undertake a major in one of four interdisciplinary areas: coaching, counselling, digital health or health administration. Additional details will be available on the MQ website soon.

New mid-year intake for 2025

UTS now offers a mid-year intake for 2025 for the Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication, providing greater flexibility for students to start their studies.

University of Wollongong early offers

UOW Early Admission gives Year 12 students completing the HSC (or Australian equivalent) in 2025 the opportunity to secure a university offer before final exams. UOW considers a student's unique skills, experiences and Year 11 results, not their ATAR.
