Our degrees offer practical, career-focused learning which combines theoretical knowledge and workplace experience. A distinct emphasis on practical work placements means that as a graduate of Notre Dame you will be uniquely advantaged when it comes to your learning and your career. It’s why we continue to receive 5-star ratings for Learner Engagement, Skills Development and Full-Time Employment (Good Universities Guide 2025, undergraduate and postgraduate categories).
Notre Dame’s admissions process goes beyond just academic results and is – like our university experience – focused on the whole person. We consider your academic record, personal qualities, gifts and talents, motivation to study and contribution to community life. Notre Dame’s holistic admissions process also includes assessing applicants’ eligibility to have adjustment factor points applied to their ATAR. Our adjustment factors are designed to address adversity faced by students, reward exceptional performance and recognise extracurricular activity with the goal of offering every student the opportunity to gain entry to, or pursue study at, Notre Dame. Current Year 12 students are also able to receive early offers to study at Notre Dame when they apply via UAC’s Schools Recommendation Scheme.
Notre Dame is committed to providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with the support needed to succeed in their university studies and beyond.
