Flexible study options

We teach across three trimesters, with degrees starting in March, July and November to give you more choice over when to start your Griffith journey. Whether you prefer to study on campus, online or through a little bit of both, full-time or part-time, we’ve got study options for you.

Guaranteed Admission Scheme

The Griffith Guaranteed Admission Scheme includes four categories: Year 12 Early Offer Guarantee, ATAR/Rank Guarantee, Griffith University Head Start Guarantee and VET Guarantee (for those who have completed an AQF Certificate III or above). Depending on your study choices, you may be eligible for guaranteed admission into one of a range of our undergraduate degrees. The Year 12 Early Offer Guarantee offers school leavers guaranteed admission to more than 60 Griffith degrees based on their secondary results and VET qualifications.

VET pathways

Griffith recognises vocational education and training (VET) as a highly effective pathway to our university. We accept standalone VET qualifications completed at high school, private providers and TAFE institutes for admission.

Adjustment factors

Our adjustment factors can help you get into your preferred degree by considering your circumstances as well as your academic results. You may be able to receive an adjustment to your ATAR or rank from secondary studies to improve your chances. The maximum total adjustments that you can receive under all pathways is eight (8.00) ranks. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants

With dedicated centres on each campus, our GUMURRII Student Success Unit offers safe and culturally appropriate learning opportunities (including online) for all First Peoples students.
